We first started selling our Pear Cider at the Glastonbury Festival in 1995 near what was then called the Jazz World Stage. These days it is called The West Holts Stage but our bar is still in the same place. Over the years, festival goers kept asking us if it was possible to get our drink when the festival was over and so we decided to market it to pubs and supermarkets. Now you can get it all over the country and at other festivals besides Glastonbury. See you at the bar!

The company has not changed and is still owned by the Showering's Family. We have just simply shaken up the fruit cider category!

While our curious flavours defined us for many years, we've reinvented ourselves to meet changing tastes. From natural goodness to lower sugar and a more sessionable ABV, our new range is a bold take on cider. It's not just change; it's an exciting, tasteful transformation inspired by you!

Selected flavours are available to purchase at major supermarkets including Tesco & Morrisons along with many nationwide convenience stores and other independent retailers. Our whole exciting range is also available to buy direct from our website.

Despite using the same apples from our orchard, just 6 miles from the mill, and maintaining our trusted processes, the taste of our new fruit ciders is anything but the same.

Packed with natural ingredients and boasting a significant reduction in sugar, our revamped range is now even juicier and more refreshing than ever before!

Now this was the fun part! We wanted our new flavours to be bold, exciting and different to what we’ve delivered in the past. After testing numerous flavour combinations both internally and externally with our customers, we decided on our top 4. All of which are made with natural flavours and a HUGE reduction in sugar, while capturing our unserious spirit and festival feeling. 

Our new range is currently exclusively available in cans. Why? Not only are cans better for the environment with full recyclability, but they also eliminate the risk of breakage and spare you the hassle of carrying a bottle opener.

Our new range consists of 4 new flavours: 

• Un-Berrylievable – Cider with natural raspberry and blackberry flavours. Slip into a world of Un-Berrylievable flavours, where crisp apples and juicy berries dance in a perfect cider harmony. A refreshing twist that’ll tickle your taste buds.   
• Berry Sub-Lime – Cider with natural lime and raspberry flavours. Get ready to be tickled by the tangy lime and charmed by the burst of raspberry refreshment in our cider. It’s a playful affair that’ll leave your taste buds giggling.    
• Best of the Zest – Cider with natural orange and lemon flavours. When life gives you oranges and lemons; we make cider! Our citrus combination will awaken your senses and deliver a refreshing surprise in every sip.   
• App-Solutely Pear-Fect – The best of both worlds and an orchard goodness! With a nod to our original Glastonbury Pear cider launched back in 1995 by the Showering's Family, at 7% ABV, this cider is not to be messed with. 

Here at Brothers, we have always been a truly original brand who continue to do things differently. Bringing humour into our products was our way of showcasing our free-spirited nature.

Yes! It would be breaking the tradition if not! This year, you will also find our new fruit flavours throughout the bars at Glastonbury Festival.

We want to offer choice to all cider drinkers. The 7% App-Solutely Pear-Fect Cider is a nod to our first cider that was produced for Glastonbury back in 1995, it's what festival go-ers can find at the famous B-Bar, and we can now offer it everyone, including those who don’t get to enjoy it at the festival!

Unfortunately, not...however, if you’re planning to attend one of our sponsored events this summer, why not enjoy a couple at the bar!

In store, you will mainly be able to purchase 500ml or 330ml cans. These will be available in 10x500ml, 6x330ml packs or as single cans.

Brothers Cider should be stored in a clean, cool, dry place and kept chilled.

Unfortunately, we won’t offer a refund in this case. We can only offer refunds if the product was damaged or faulty.

Yes, we understand the importance of natural ingredients to our consumers and a desire for a refreshing, not as sweet taste – which is exactly what we’ve done!

We have made sure that all our ingredients are natural and most importantly, tasty!

Our ciders contain: carbonated water, fermented apple juice, sugar, flavouring, juice from other fruit and berries or from concentrate depending on the flavour of the cider, colours depending on flavour, citric acid (E330) and sodium bisulphite (E222).

All products in the Brothers Cider range do not contain artificial sweeteners.

All our ciders are nut free and produced on a nut free site.

All our ciders are wheat free and gluten free.

All of our ciders are dairy free.

At Brothers, we like to make cider the right way! This means that all of our cider ranges are naturally gluten free.
Our cider range starts off using 100% pressed apple juice and is fermented using naturally gluten free yeast.

As Brothers Cider is made from apples that are naturally gluten free and is made by fermenting apple juice with yeast and sugar, it is a safe drink for anyone with a gluten sensitivity. Unlike brewer’s yeast which is a by-product of beer brewing, the yeast used for fermenting cider is naturally gluten free.

Brothers cider is both gluten free and vegan friendly, we even have accreditation from The Vegan Society with the Vegan Trademark.

We are pleased to say that we do not test any of our products on animals.

We don’t recommend drinking Brothers after the listed ‘best before’ date. While it may not cause you harm, we can’t guarantee that the quality or flavour will be as good as you expect.

We have a zero to landfill policy across the whole company and all sites, meaning all waste is segregated. Alongside this, we will offset our carbon footprint by approximately 3,000 tonnes of Co2 per year thanks to our 150 acres of orchard.

By sourcing 100% of our electricity from renewable sources, we are reducing our reliance on fossil fuels to contribute to a sustainable future.

All our new equipment is thoroughly assessed for environmental impact and sustainability, and we are constantly working with our customers to minimise the packaging materials used whilst ensuring full recovery and recycling of waste. Read more...
